I’m Jeanette Nogales, a licensed therapist providing compassionate, evidence-based care to adolescents, adults, and families navigating anxiety, OCD, and related challenges. I work collaboratively with clients who are ready to face fear at their own pace, build flexibility, and move toward lives guided by what matters most to them.

My approach is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and respect. I believe meaningful change doesn’t come from forcing anxiety away, but from learning how to respond differently to it—so it has less control over your life.

My Background & Experience

I bring over 20 years of experience across a range of clinical settings, including hospitals, schools, group practices, and residential treatment programs. I have served as an associate clinical director and program director at a residential program specializing in empirically supported treatments for anxiety and OCD in teens and young adults.

My work is rooted in the belief that healing involves not only reducing suffering, but also helping individuals and families reconnect with their values and move toward meaningful lives—even in the presence of fear or uncertainty.

Clinical Training & Areas of Focus

I am trained in evidence-based cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-informed therapies, including:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

I am especially passionate about helping clients build psychological flexibility, face fears with courage, and develop a more compassionate relationship with their internal experiences. I also enjoy training and supervising clinicians to expand access to effective, evidence-based care.

Professional Involvement

I am an active member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS), and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT). I serve on the board leadership team of NH OCD, a state affiliate of the IOCDF.

Outside the Therapy Room

Outside of my clinical work, I find joy in connection, adventure, and time in nature. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, my beloved dogs, mountain biking, backpacking, and working in my gardens.
