Jeanette Nogales provides therapeutic services to adolescents, teens, adults, and families. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, she received her Master’s Degree (M.Ed.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cambridge College in 2005 and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (C.A.G.S) in Clinical Mental Health and Leadership from Plymouth State University in 2008. Jeanette has served as the associate clinical director and program director at a residential treatment program specializing in empirically-based treatments for anxiety and OCD-related disorders in adolescents and young adults. Jeanette also has experience serving as a graduate teaching faculty, a hospital-based clinician and crisis counselor at a regional hospital, a group practice clinician, and a child and family therapist within a regional behavioral healthcare system.

Jeanette has received extensive training in cognitive-behavioral therapies and
mindfulness-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP). Jeanette enjoys training and supervising fellow clinicians to increase awareness and utilization of evidence-based treatments. She is an active member of the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS), and the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT).
Jeanette volunteers on the board of NH OCD, a state affiliate of the IOCDF.
She engages in support groups such as the adult OCD support group and the
parents of anxious kids support group. Jeanette also facilitates SPACE
programs for parents with anxious children. She also serves on the leadership
team for the OCD SIG in the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science.
When Jeanette isn’t working, she loves being with friends and family, being
in the great outdoors, and traveling. Some activities she loves are mountain
biking, hiking, backpacking, and working in her gardens.
